PM Dbeibah, Turkish Defense Minister discuss military cooperation between two countries

The Prime Minister/ Defense Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, has discussed with Turkish Defense Minister, Hulusi Akar, military cooperation between the two countries.

This came during their meeting on Monday, to discuss a number of training programs for the Libyan army and the provision of advanced equipment, according to the media office of the Prime Minister.

In the same context, Dbeibah and Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu discussed a number of files of common interest, and witnessed the signing of two cooperation agreements between the two countries.

Cavusoglu said in a tweet that Ankara will continue its efforts for Libya to have a "regular army", adding that the latter is in dire need of drawing a road map regarding the elections.
