The President of Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee of the Italian Senate, Stefania Craxi, has confirmed that there is an emerging consensus between Itay and Egypt regarding the stability of Libya, according to the Italian news agency Nova.

The agency said that Craxi made it clear after her visit to Cairo that Egypt and Italy are working together to ensure that Libya becomes a stable country with a unified government chosen by the Libyans themselves.
